Abstract | 射电天文望远镜的发展对天线馈源的宽带性提出了更高的要求,作为实现双极化天线馈源系统的关键器件,正交模耦合器的宽带性能将直接影响宽带天线的性能。分析了双脊波导厚度对于水平/垂直极化波的影响,使用电磁仿真软件HFSS对水平/垂直极化波模式进行分析,对7 mm波段(30~50 GHz)的正交模耦合器进行了设计与优化,在50%相对带宽内,回波损耗优于-21 dB,正交隔离度优于-50 dB,为进一步开展毫米波宽带OMT的研究提供理论设计基础。 |
Other Abstract | The development of radio Astronomy telescope requires antenna feed with wider bandwidth. As a key device to realize dual polarized antenna feed system, the performance of ortho⁃mode transducer on bandwidth will directly affect that of the broadband antenna. The article analyzes the effect of double⁃ridged waveguide thickness on the horizontally/ vertically polarized wave, analyzes horizontally/ vertically⁃polarized wave mode with electromagnetic simulation software HFSS, and designs and optimizes the ortho⁃mode transducer for the 7 mm band (30~50 GHz).Within 50% relative bandwidth, return loss is better than -21 dB,orthogonal isolation is better than -50 dB, which provides theoretical design foundation for the research on millimeter wave broadband OMT. |
