Abstract | 地幔对流仍然是当今板块要构造理论所面临的重大问题之一。本文认为大洋中脊的形成和维持机制是地幔对流理论必须解决的一个关键问题,特别是地幔对流理论应该能够解释现存的洋中脊明显的全球性大尺寸度结构。本文为此提出了一个地核--地幔联合对流形成洋中脊大尺度结构的模型,建立了通过深部地幔破裂产生地核--地幔联合对流的机制。这个模型初步解释了洋中脊的形成和它的大尺度结构,并进一步对洋中脊的活动性及板块形成等问题作了分析。 |
Other Abstract | Mantle convection is an important problem of plate tectonic theory. We think that the formation of mid-oceanic ridge and its supporting mechanism are key problems which should be solved by mantle convection theory, especially the mantle convection theory should be able to explain the global structure of the mid-oceanic ridge. So we proposed a new mantle convection model, Core-Mantle Joint Convection, which forms the mid-oceanic ridge and its global structure. The mechanism which is resposible for the Core-Mantle Joint Convection is presented also. In addition, the activity of mid-oceanic ridge, plate formation and some other problems are analysed in the model. |
