Abstract理论推导和科学实验是人类从事科学研究的两大方法,但随着高性能计算技术迅猛发展,计算模拟逐渐成为科学研究中不可或缺的第三种方法。天文学作为一门基于观测的科学逐渐发展成为一个具有计算密集型、数据密集型特点的学科领域。其对高性能计算和天文数据管理的需求主要有两个方面:一是高性能计算机要满足大型科学计算需求,二是数据管理要满足天文数据的急剧增长的需求。结合天文学具备的计算密集型和数据密集型的特点,研究高性能计算技术和天文数据管理技术是很有必要的。 本文主要从高性能计算平台和天文数据管理技术两个方面进行研究。高性能计算平台搭建部分,作者主要的工作如下:(1)针对天文学科的特点,完成高性能计算平台的结构设计;(2)借助虚拟机完成了该平台所需的操作系统及相应的软件部署、网络部署,并给出了核心技术MPI的安装方法及开发流程;(3)通过基准测试程序Linpack完成了平台的性能测试,并分析了影响测试结果的因素。天文数据管理部分,作者主要的工作如下:(1)通过参阅大量文献确定了天文领域本体的构成,明确了通过“七步法”并采用自顶向下法构建天文本体的研究思路;(2)完成了类的层次划分;(3)完成了基于protégé的天文领域本体构建;(4)开发出了领域本体的应用实例:天文知识库。 通过本课题的研究,作者利用虚拟机在Linux环境下构建了高性能计算平台、操作系统部署、软件安装、网络配置并完成了Linpack 测试。实验结果表明这种构建高性能计算平台的方法切实可行。该部分的研究将应用于新疆天文台Taurus高性能计算平台的管理和维护中。天文数据管理部分作者完成了天文领域本体的构建并在protégé予以实现,开发出了领域本体的应用实例。该部分的研究完善后将应用于虚拟天文台元数据服务中。天文领域本体的研究工作在国内尚未开展过,具有一定的研究意义。
Other AbstractTheoretical derivation and scientific experiment are the two scientific research methods. However, with the rapid development of high performance computing technology, computational simulation has been becoming an indispensable part of the scientific research. As the science based on the observation, the astronomy has been gradually developing as a data-intensive and compute-intensive academic (or subject). Besides, there are two basic requirements of the academic on the computing and data management: 1) the high performance computing should meet the need of the large scientific computing; 2) the astronomical data management should meet the need of the rapid growth astronomical data. Hence, it is necessary to study the technology of high-performance computing and astronomical data management. This paper mainly studies the technology of high-performance computing and astronomical data management. The main works about the technology of high-performance computing are as follows: 1) finishing the platform structure design according to the characteristics of astronomical science; 2) finishing the Operating system and the corresponding deployment of software and network with the aid of the vritual machine and providing the installation method and development process of the MPI; 3) Finishing the performance test of the platform by the benchmark test program Linpack, and analyzes the factors that affect test results. The main works about the astronomical data management are as follows: 1) determining the composition of ontology in the field of astronomy by referring to a large number of documents; 2) completing the class hierarchy; 3) finishing the ontology construction based on protégé; 4) developing a domain ontology application: astronomical knowledge bank. The author has constructed a high performance computing platform and finished the operating system deployment, software installation, network configuration and Linpack test by using virtual machine in Linux environment. The experimental results show that the method is feasible and practical to build a high performance computing platform. The corresponding researches will be applied to the management and maintenance of high performance computing platform of Taurus of Xinjiang astronomical observatory. Besides, the author has finished the construction of the astronomical domain ontology and the realized by the protégé, and developed a domain ontology application instance. And the corresponding research will be applied to the metadata service of Virtual Observatory. The research of the Astronomical domain ontology has not yet been studied in china, which is significant and valuable.
