Abstract

Addresses the needs of forefront of astronomical data management research, this paper proposes a data retrieval method combining ontology and parallel computing technologies, establishes an astronomical ontology database, explores the parallelization of ontology reasoning and retrieval process based on the ontology database, and designs the parallel retrieval system. The experimental results show that the proposed method effectively improves the efficiency of astronomical data retrieval.
