Other AbstractXinjiang 110 m diameter all movable radio telescope project (QTT) has begun to equipment pre-research. In 2 cm band (12-30 GHz radio astronomy the bandwidth of the receiver is 2. 5 times from high to low frequency, and the high frequency end has reached the millimeter wave band. Ortho-mode Transducer (OMT) is the key of radio astronomy receiver device; its bandwidth determines the bandwidth of the radio astronomy receiver. To meet the requirements of ultra-wideband, 2 cm band Ortho-mode Transducer uses coaxial feeding quadruple-ridge waveguide and transition to the circular waveguide structure, quadruple-ridge waveguides and coaxial converter, absorption cavity are the most important core part. The CST electromagnetic simulation software was used to design the quadruple-ridge waveguides and coaxial converter and absorption cavity of 2 cm band. Considering the domestic machining level and drawing lessons from the latest foreign designs, different matching structures were used for the two orthogonal channels of the absorption cavity. The simulation results show that the return loss <-20 dB, the insertion loss <-03dB and the orthogonal isolation degree <-39 dB
