Abstract | We prepared polysulfanes (H2Sn, n = 2 to 4) via photon irradiation of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) ices and measured their photoionization efficiency spectra. The ionization energies of H2S2, H2S3 and H2S4 were determined to be 9.08 +/- 0.02 eV, 8.90 +/- 0.05 eV and 8.85 +/- 0.05 eV, respectively. |
